Radio América cambió la versión ampliamente utilizada desde los 90s en las radios peruanas por ser "más alegre" del tema Sexo de los Prisioneros del álbum Grandes Éxitos (la del videoclip de 1986) por la original de 1984 del álbum La voz de los 80.

La versión del Grandes Exitos (1991) se grabó en 1986 y es la que se escucha en el videoclip de esa canción que tardíamente se lanzo en ese año. Como señale anteriormente lo que pasó es que en la transición del vinilo al CD en las radios peruanas entre 1989 y 1993 no había versión digitales de los LPs La Voz de los 80s, Pateando Piedras y La cultura de la basura de Los Prisioneros, entonces tomaron las versiones que había en el Grandes Éxitos de 1990 pero resultó que ahí había regrabaciones con mejor sonido y mas rápidas de Sexo, El baile de los que sobran y Pa pa pá. Además de remezclas remasterizadas de otras canciones de ese grupo. Poco a poco cuando se fueron lanzando las versiones digitales de los primeros albumes se fueron reemplazando por las originales pero con El baile de los que sobran y Sexo en la mayoría de radios limeñas se quedaron con esas versiones nuevas por ser más alegres, recién en la ultima década tanto Oasis como Oxigeno reemplazaron la versión de El baile de los que sobran por la original y ahora América se suma con este reemplazo del tema Sexo. Cabe indicar que posteriormente en Chile se lanzó una segunda edición del Grandes Éxitos pero con las versiones originales.
