Desde el inicio, fue un desperdicio de emisora, con un formato ya consolidado en otras radios.

Ahora que lo pienso, ¿La Zona Salsa no estará pensada en reemplazar a La Mega de aquí a un tiempo? Ya que el Grupo RPP tiende a crear emisoras online para ir probando para pasarlo a la FM, tal como lo hizo con La Mega un mes antes de su lanzamiento oficial.
