Tiendas Antiguas y Desaparecidas en el Perú

En otras noticias, traigo un pequeño aporte ya que hoy pasé por la Av La Marina

Iniciando por el obvio Scotiabank de La Marina, en la esquina con la calle Eugenio de la Torre, cruzando la gasolinera GES.

Curioso ya que, a diferencia del BBVA, el cual tenia 2 oficinas en La Marina cercanas (Maranga y Panda, al lado de las concesionarias) Scotiabank no tiene oficinas de atención al cliente cercanas, fuera de las de Plaza San Miguel, el cual esta considerablemente lejos.

En otro local se encuentra un Tambo, una rareza ya que era un tambo que veía considerablemente lleno, dada su cercanía al Británico y la universidad UPC, especialmente cuando sus otros locales estan a cierta distancia.

Desde alli pude apreciar el Ex Casino Macao y su Restaurante Ancla Mazu, ahora, igual que el popular Marina Park, será un edificio de departamentos

Curioso como Marina Park fue un espacio para recreación y retail y el muevo desarrollo en su terreno también sera usado para recreación y retail entre otras cosas.

1. Papa's Queen (Ahora Pizza Raul, ni idea si su local en mantaro seguirá operativo)

Curiosamente aun se puede ver el cartel y parte de la fachada de Mama Tomato.

Aparte, cerró un Restobar llamado Holy Funny y según se, el King Kronuts del boulevard Mantaro, uniéndose a Thinkathani y Urban Rider como tiendas que ya no estan en el boulevard. Tomaré fotos cuando pueda.

Lo que se me hace curioso es que se mencionaron las negociaciones por un local en el centro de Lima que al final se cancelaron debido a que Metro consiguió el que actualmente es el Metro de Emancipación.

También se menciona que el proyecto de Plaza Vea de Izaguirre estaba planeado desde marzo de 2006 ya que supuestamente ese año Metro debió haber cerrado, pero los Wong se resistieron hasta que Ormeño les termine pidiendo la deuda, hasta que Cencosud compró Metro, Wong y Eco , y con ello aprovecharon para que en Julio de 2008 saquearan y posteriormente cerrarán el Metro de Izaguirre, ese Metro sigue siendo polémico debido a todo lo que sucedió en los 10 años y medio de vida del supermercado

Raro que en el reportaje a el país nieguen la venta de la cadena. 

Me pregunto que hubiera pasado si no vendían nada o si otra empresa extranjera compara Wong y sus filiales, Metro y demás. Como seria??

Tal vez si no hubieran vendido Wong, Metro y eco almacenes (aun existía esta última hasta la compra de Cencosud) hubiera seguido normal la administración de ese entonces tal vez aun conservando sus logo y eco almacenes hubiera seguido existiendo o tal vez no y seria la competencia de precio uno y seguirían normal y de que si otra empresa extranjera hubiera comprado Wong y sus filiales pues harían algún que otro cambio en las tiendas si es que ellos lo ven necesario y la historia hubiera sido diferente dependiendo de cual otra empresa la administraría

En realidad datan del último trimestre del año 2008, esos meses Tottus inauguró varias tiendas al punto que duplicó la cantidad de locales que tenía hasta entonces. Las dos primeras aparecen justo en esa edición: la primera fue la de Canta Callao que como dice el artículo abrió el 21 de octubre de 2008, alcancé a ir el día de su inauguración pero de noche, rápidamente tuvo alta acogida. Algo curioso es como por meses tuvieron un logo provisional de Sodimac, creo que recién el verano de 2009 lo colocaron y en la parte que da para la Canta Callao pusieron el logo con la tipografía antigua pese a que a finales de 2008 había cambiado, hasta hoy la conserva pero por ejemplo de noche no prenden sus luces. De ahí vino la de Crillón en el Cercado de Lima que no encuentro fecha exacta de la inauguración pero parece que fue entre finales de octubre e inicios de noviembre.

Ya la de Puente Piedra fue inaugurada en diciembre como también menciona el artículo; ese mismo mes abrieron las de Bellavista en el Mall Plaza, Los Jardines en Trujillo y la de Ica en la Plaza del Sol, y acá en Lima la de Pachacútec en Villa María del Triunfo. La tienda faltante es la de El Agustino que fue inaugurada el 18 de noviembre.

Prototipos de locales de Maestro los saque de donde saque los planos de varios locales de Santa Isabel que esto que voy a compartir al parecer son prototipos de locales de Maestro curiosamente en colaboración con Makro que iban a estar en su local si es que alguien conoce o tiene información adicional a esto puede compartirlo al foro ya que esto es algo bien raro

Una idea interesante, Maestro era más una ferretería que un homecenter, juntar una ferreteria que vende implementos de construcción y una tienda de venta por volumen mayorista no es una mala idea, especialmente en zonas en desarrollo. El segundo modelo con tiendas más populares es igual de útil.

Maestro en zonas como la de Ventanilla eran bastante útiles gracias a sus ventas, aún así cuando se hizo un Sodimac más gente iba.

Maestro es útil para zonas en desarrollo, Sodimac/Promart es más útil en zonas con mayor densidad y menos necesidad de construcción.



No es raro una colaboración, el grupo Enfoca es una inversionista con varios rubros, una colaboración con una empresa y un modelo de ventas bastante comprobado como lo es Makro con Ahold no está fuera de lugar, eso y que como ya mencioné, Maestro Funciona mejor como Super Ferretería para construcción, mejor incluso que Sodimac Constructor, ya que si deseas material hay minimo unas 5 o 6 ferreterías que tendrán el material que requieres cerca. Unir ambos conceptos de compra masiva con un diseño centrado y pensado alrededor de un Automóvil, tiene lógica.

Muchachos he ido al norte y he pasado por el Maestro de Piura se acuerdan de que en el local de Chacarilla pusieron un cartel en el local que tenía en la zona Maestro donde anunciaban que lo iban a remodelar para convertirlo a Sodimac pues ese cartel también lo han puesto en el local de Piura todavía no han pintado ni sacado los logos solo han puesto el cartel afuera en la entrada mañana que tal vez vaya y pase de nuevo aprovechare a tomarle foto

Chicos hoy fui al Maestro de la Av. Argentina en el Callao y me di cuenta que había CERRADO PARA SIEMPRE y dice un cartel que solo van a estar en Sodimac Bellavista. Al parecer la tienda Maestro Callao esta en venta y actualmente es solo un almacén de Sodimac hasta q se acabe la mercadería. Una pena se suma a la larga lista de Maestro cerrados
