Desde la tarde de ayer se notó un incremento notorio en la frecuencia en las que Radio Mágica emite canciones de los años 90. Pasó de emitir apenas una cada dos horas, a dos o incluso tres por hora en su momento pico. Si bien sigue siendo poca presencia, puede ser indicio de un cambio al formato actual. Esta fue la cronología desde aprox. las 8:00am sin contar la Hora de los Beatles:

Aunque la mayoría siguen siendo baladas, hay excepciones como los temas de Michael Jackson o Londonbeat. Hoy el ritmo hasta la hora de este mensaje parece haber bajado nuevamente a aprox. un tema de los 90 por hora, y entre las que sonaron que no hayan sido mencionadas ahora están Lemon Tree (1995) y Maria (1999), ambas creo que ya sonaron alguna vez.

La segunda diría que Studio 92, pero depende si quieren seguir manteniendo el formato de música actual en inglés para esta emisora o ya por último uno variado juvenil para diferenciarlo de la Megamix que está más orientado a la nostalgia (metiendo rock&amp;pop o eurodance por ejemplo), pero que se delimite bien porque a veces parece casi copia de La Zona, y entre esas, si van a centrarse a lo urbano entre todo lo juvenil, mejor quédense con La Zona. De las 4, eso sí, creo que la Megamix por ahora es la más estable.
	

	
		Hay una diferencia notoria entre esa etapa y la actual. Es cierto que la cumbia ha sonado con fuerza en los últimos años, sin embargo, los hits nuevos este 2024 han sido pocos creo yo, y además centrados a pocos grupos: básicamente este fue el año de la Única Tropical (que acaparó casi todo con Partido en Dos y recientemente con Tattoo) y Leslie Shaw con sus canciones con Marisol y Armonía 10, y por ahí unos cuantos más. Ni siquiera al exitosísimo Grupo 5 le fue tan bien con su inédita Tú No Eres Un Ángel, mucho mejor le fue el año pasado reviviendo otra canción vieja con Eddy Herrera.
	

	
		En cambio, hace 15-16 años había varias canciones nuevas de cualquier cantidad de grupos:&nbsp;Grupo 5, Hermanos Yaipen, Caribeños, Armonía 10, Agua Marina, Mallanep, Papillon, Kaliente, Marisol, Privados, etc etc etc. Era una fiebre total. Lo de hoy creo que sería más comparable a lo que pasó hace 10-11 años cuando Corazón Serrano volvió con fuerza y por ahí sonaron otros temas como Mi Chilala o el cover de Ya Te Olvidé. Si la tendencia continúa en favor de nuevos éxitos, ya estaríamos hablando de un nuevo boom, que de hecho las radios querrán volver a aplicar. Algunas se están sumando, como las urbanas o las latinas en general, pero creo que es también un poco por girar al formato mix que está teniendo un nuevo despegue en los últimos años.

Cierto, para mediados del 2008 la cumbia estaba en todos lados, incluso llegaba a los sectores A-B, si Viva FM y Studio 92 no tocaban Grupo 5 o Yaipen era porque ya no iba con el formato de programación, porque hasta en las discotecas más exclusivas se presentaban, tuvieron su apeogeo. Todo esto fue también por la difusión que tuvieron por las redes sociales de entonces. En esa época recuerdo varias webs de ese género que tenian visitas por montones, luego CRP lanzó la Nueva Q cuando ya el mercado estaba servido y fue la única radio en salir al aire y en su primer survey estar en 3er. lugar, una locura nunca antes vista en las FM en Lima. Ya al año siguiente llega Capuñay para comparle las frecuencias de la familia Lainez y la historia conocida....&nbsp;

Me parece que este boom comenzó en el 2006 con la serie Virgenes de la Cumbia en Latina que tuvo cierto raiting, luego con el accidente de Nectar al año siguiente y la difusión mediática que tuvo. Fue una locura...&nbsp;

¿Por qué se apago? Pues como todo en la vida tiene un ciclo, y ya llegaban nuevos sonidos en el género urbano. A partir de mediados del 2010 la cumbia ya solo se quedó en las radios de ese formato (Karibeña, Q, Unión). La entrada de La Kalle con ese formato Mix influyó mucho pues en 6 meses ya estaba dentro de las top 10.

Lo de ahora es solo una moda de temporada, así como lo fue la bachata en el 2009 o el surgimiento del tecnho en las FM al año siguiente, electro pop (2011-2014) y la fiebre de Ozuna (2015).

Y sobre la década de los 2000 es una percepción aún, especialmente de los nacidos en los 80 o 90 que aún vemos a esa década como algo reciente o no tan antiguo, cuando haciendo cálculos es como escuchar música ochentera en los 2000. Y lo que queda de studio podría pasar a la zona, que también debería deshacerse de tanto reggaeton viejo (eso debería ir a la megamix) y acoger toda esa nueva música.
	

	
		Ya un programa radial en una radio musical a las 5 de la mañana (con locución) ya es muy raro. La mayoría inicia a partir de las 6, salvo las de noticias.
	



No tienen un buen programador que sepa manejar el formato. Me acuerdo que una vez escuche As it Was de Harry Style, después de un rato Pérdoname de La Factoria y después de unos minutos Sirena de Sin Bandera. Es un arroz con mango, no tanto por los géneros, si no por el criterio al armar el playlist siendo canciones de públicos distintos y matizar con música romantica son cambios bruscos en cuanto a público objetivo. Allí deberian poner a Marquina que conoce de música Pop.

En lo personal nunca me gusto ese cambio que hicieron en Oxygeno al volverla más "juvenil". Parece que sacaron al productor de Studio 92 y lo pusieron allí, un poco más y ponen también a Damian y el Toyo.&nbsp;

El detalle es que en el contexto musical no hubo cambios bruscos desde el 2005 hacía aquí, aún existe el reggaetón, la timba, latin pop (ahora más urbano), pero en términos comerciales no hay mucha diferencia en los formatos.&nbsp;

Románticas&nbsp;

Rock and Pop retro&nbsp;

Oldies&nbsp;

Top 40&nbsp;

Los mismos formatos radiales de hace 20 años, lo único que cambio es que ahora ponen influencers como locutores y necesitan más presencia digital pues compiten con el streaming on demand, pero después las técnicas radiales y de programación son las mismas.&nbsp;

Me parece que Moda también inicia a las 5, creo que se llama El Despertador y en La Zona no se si seguirá el programa retro en ese horario (salsa de inicios del 2000, reggeaton del 2006 y algunas trance) que lo conducía Chiki.&nbsp;

La tandas comerciales en las radios conocidas comienza desde las 4 junto con la hora entre canciones.&nbsp;

Hoy el ritmo hasta la hora de este mensaje parece haber bajado nuevamente a aprox. un tema de los 90 por hora, y entre las que sonaron que no hayan sido mencionadas ahora están Lemon Tree (1995) y Maria (1999), ambas creo que ya sonaron alguna vez.
	



Todas esas canciones han sonado en Oasis solo falta que pongan techno.

La única excepción seria el tema de Titanic que no lo dieron en Oasis, recuerdo cuando hablaban de la canción en su pagina web pero no la emitían, mostrando así la mediocridad de esa radio porque hasta en Oxígeno escuché ese tema que a mi parecer es bastante básico de poner.

Aparte del techno, nomás queda el repertorio de la música ochentera y noventera en español. No encaja en el resto de radios, salvo unas cuantas en las del recuerdo, y eso, pues ambas están encasilladas con una música ya predeterminada.
