¿Alguien ha grabado el programa de Trip Weekend de la semana pasada (sábado 14 de mayo)? Se me ocurrió escucharlo en RadioCut saltando minutos para ahorrar tiempo, y encontré estas razones por las que decidí dejar de grabarlo:

El playlist sigue teniendo casi las mismas canciones que todos los fines de semana. Solo he escuchado tres o cuatro canciones retro que no habían puesto antes, entre ellas “Sk8er Boi” de Avril Lavigne que tanto se ha discutido en este tema de por qué no suena en la radio si fue un hitazo. Pero de lo actual, nada nuevo ni fuera de lo común.

Luciano insiste en querer demostrar supuestos conocimientos de inglés con sus pésimas traducciones como ‘el baile del monito’ para “Dance Monkey” de Tones and I (cuyo título en realidad se traduciría como ‘monito bailarín’ o algo así).

Y lo que me temía: justo en el día en que la banda finlandesa The Rasmus se presentaba en la final del Festival de la Canción de Eurovisión 2022 con “Jezebel” (clasificado desde la segunda semifinal), pusieron “In the Shadows” -canción usual entre los retros del programa- y Luciano no hizo la más mínima mención al festival. Si lo hubiera hecho, se habría ganado puntos de cultura musical… pero como era esperable, no dijo nada al respecto.

También sigue con su insoportable “mis chichos” cada vez que le toca hablar. No solo suena anticuado, sino que fastidia. Escucharlo decir eso se siente como tener al lado al chinchoso del grupo que te abraza contra tu voluntad y sin haberle dado confianza…

Ya lo hacen desde hace años.

No solo ya suena ahí (desde el 04/02 siendo exactos), también fue 1 por 5 semanas en su ranking semanal (donde estuvo ahí por 14 semanas), igualmente 5 semanas como tal en el ranking alternativo gringo que ellos pasan (donde aún permanece en lista, pese a ya no ser 1), y siguen pasándolo recurrentemente en su programación (como muestra están los tracklists).

Por la situación en la que se encuentra Studio actualmente, no extraña que haga eso; más bien, pienso que deberían volver a darle oportunidad al indie/alternativo, siquiera con un programa (así tendría una programación más variada sobre todo a la de su competencia limeña).

Aquí tengo el registro, y considero que si bien SB es una caleta, pero pienso que debería estar en Oasis y Oxígeno, ya no en Studio o Planeta, pero hablar con ellos es hablar con una piedra (es más, hasta la piedra entiende).

Ese programa ya se volvió en lo que su momento fue New Music, lo que tanto temía y presentía, que lo novedoso cada vez se iría al pique y repetirían las mismas canciones en ese programa. Desconozco si en EuroRockas también pasa lo mismo ( @Electro2003 confirma).

A mí me hubiera gustado que pongan Jezebel y Black Summer de RHCP, como para contrastar a los artistas de siempre con sus hits actuales.

Concuerdo en que “Sk8er Boi” ya debería estar sonando en Oasis y Oxígeno. De hecho, creo que ya ponen “Complicated” allí. Studio92 y Planeta deberían priorizar lo actual y, en términos temporales, abarcar de 2008 hacia adelante y que todo lo anterior pase a sus estaciones hermanas. Sobre “Jezebel” y “Black Summer”, son más para D9 a estas alturas del desarrollo radial peruano, y mientras que la de RHCP ya suena allí según indica @fabinc99, la de The Rasmus tiene pocas posibilidades de sonar incluso allí porque la referencia del “Jefe” Sanguinetti es Estados Unidos, no Europa.

Lamentablemente, Studio ya es un caso muerto, pues así pongan un programa con música tipo Passport Approved, conociendo los cuadriculados que son los de ese grupo (en realidad, casi todos los grupos grandes), van a repetir las mismas canciones que al inicio sonarán como novedad, y dicha ilusión se irá desvaneciendo con el pasar de las ediciones. Solo miren cómo anda el programa revelación de este año, Trip Weekend.
