Por otro lado, lamento discrepar contigo en esto, pero decir que la década de los 2000; o mejor dicho, la década que abarca del año 2000 al 2009 no es retro es el argumento más deficiente y endeble que ha existido, porque para tu conocimiento hubo una hipocresía en la década de los 2010; o mejor dicho, la década que abarca del año 2010 al año 2019, ya que ni bien empezó el año 2010, toda la sociedad se puso de acuerdo en menos de 5 segundos en considerar como retro a toda la década de los 90, cuando la mayoría de las cosas de esa década que cierra del siglo 20 no tenía ni siquiera más de 20 años de existencia, ya que está ignorando que muchas cosas utilizadas en las últimas décadas del siglo 20 seguían siendo relevantes años 2000, lo cual las voy a enlistar para dejar en claro el por qué sí es factible y razonable considerar a los años 2000 como una década retro al igual que los años 90, 80, 70, etc.

1.- Falta menos de 1 mes para que todas las cosas creadas y publicadas en el año 2000 estén a un paso de cumplir 25 años de existencia.

2.- Era común que los autos todoterreno y camionetas de los años 2000 tengan los parachoques cubriendo toda la parte inferior de la carrocería.

3.- Los autos sedanes como coupes y hatchback, e incluso los todoterreno y camionetas de los años 2000 eran de diseño sencillo como en los años 90 y 80, pero ya a partir de los primeros años de la década de 2010 ya les pusieron diseños muy de lujo y de colores fríos y apagados.

4.- Los televisores de rayo catódico o mejor conocidos como televisores de tubo eran indispensables y muy utilizados hasta a mediados de los años 2000.

24.- La década de los 2000 fue la última década donde la música rock en todas sus ramas todavía formaba parte de la corriente mainstream, porque ni bien entró los primeros años de la década de 2010 ya el rock desapareció de la corriente mainstream.

25.- En cuanto a las culturas urbanas, la década de los 2000 fue la última década donde las culturas urbanas florecieron, como los góticos, hipsters y emos que venían de fines de los 90.

Hasta ahora sigue habiendo un problema con los años 2000, y no solo en las radios y la música sino en general: muchos, sobre todo los que pasan de 40 años, se rehúsan a ver esa etapa como algo antiguo, por más que en esos años ya veían a los 80 de esa forma. Es como por ejemplo: en 2004 veías una foto de 1984 y decían que cómo había cambiado el tiempo, que eso, que lo otro. Hoy uno ve una foto de 2004 y por poco y dice "sigue igual, pongan algo más antiguo". Considerando que el público asiduo a la radio no suelen ser los jóvenes (salvo en las radios de su segmento), es común que con la música reaccionen de la misma forma.

Ahora, lo otro es desprenderse también de una generación musical. Veamos el caso de Mágica: en el último lustro se han deshecho de la mayoría de sus canciones de los 60, quedando solo los Beatles y diez canciones más, y de los 50 peor: apenas dan creo que cuatro canciones (los mismos refritazos rocanroleros). Encima de ello, ya en los últimos dos años han puesto más canciones de los 90, aunque no de forma tan seguida (creo que ponen una cada dos horas). Así, Mágica pasó de ser una radio que podían oír mis abuelos a una que ya tira más para mis padres (asumiendo que rondan los 50-55 años). Caso similar ha pasado en el español con La Inolvidable y Felicidad.

Y sobre esa generación, las radios que les asociaba más a "sus tiempos" eran las de fines del siglo XX: Oxígeno, Oasis, Z Rock&Pop, esas. Hoy en la FM solo queda la primera. Si empezaran a meter de forma continua canciones de los 2000s, la emisora dejaría de estar orientada a ese público en parte, y estaría más para los millenials que crecieron con esos temas. Sería ir reduciendo opciones para las generaciones mayores y centrarlas en los que tienen menos de 35-40 años. ¿Pero es rentable? Tal vez no lo ven así. Creen que ese público todavía sigue siendo muy activo y lo más conveniente es dejar entonces la música de fines del siglo XX sin arriesgarse a poner algo más, pero perjudicando también a las radios de música reciente, sumado a que las canciones de los 80 y 90 hasta de la generación Z tienen preferencia.

Creo que es más complejo de lo que parece. Podría parecer sencillo decir "eliminemos los 80 de Oxígeno y metamos 2000s", pero dejarían a una parte del público importante con una opción menos. Si las personas nacidas hace 70-80 años todavía tenían opciones hasta hace poco en la radio, tal vez tengamos 80s para rato. Lo que se tendría que hacer en todo caso es delimitar bien los formatos según segmento y mercado, y ya a partir de ahí tomar decisiones. Pero por ahora, las mayores víctimas son las radios de música del siglo XXI.

Esas personas que tienen más de 40 de años de las que se niegan a aceptar la antigüedad de la década de los 2000 no son más que dinosaurios, ya que por culpa de ellos no se puede ser objetivo ni honesto al respecto a la hora de hablar con ellos.

A mi no sorprendería en lo absoluto que en algún futuro Radio Mágica llegue a pasar música de más artistas de fines de los 90 y de artistas de la década de los 2000 como las Spice Girls, Britney Spears, Smash Mouth, el clásico Coldplay, el clásico Linkin Park, Sophie-Ellis Bextor, Evanescence, Keane y The Killers.

Acá hay una cosa que no estoy de acuerdo, si nos fijamos en la mayoría de artistas de los años 90 orientados a público muy juvenil como los Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, Savage Garden, las Spice Girls, Natalie Imbruglia, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, JLO y Blink-182, el público objetivo  de ellos no era la generación x, sino los millenials, tal como en los años 2000 también se dirigieron a la generación Y artistas como Nelly Furtado,Simple Plan, Avril Lavigne, P!nk, Beyoncé y Paramore.

Yo jamás dije que Oxígeno deje de lado por completo a la música de los 80 y 90, sólo dije que por enfrascarse en ambas décadas de fines del siglo 20, no son capaces de añadir a su programación habitual más música de la década que abrió el nuevo milenio, ya que actualmente solo pasan una mísera cantidad de canciones de los años 2000 en su programación habitual.

Lo único que yo espero es que como falta muy poquito para que todas las cosas creadas y publicadas en el año 2000 cumplan 25 años de existencia, ya se considere a la década de los 2000 como retro por si acaso.

Yo era fan de z rockandpop . tengo grabaciones con gerardo manuel ,charly en z  rockandrock de hairbands los ultimos 20 ...y polo de z..para mi la mejor epoca fue 2008 y 2009 salvo un mes que pusieron musica romantica..ahora 2024 es horrible ponen musica brasileira ricky martin shakira soraya la lambada en una radio de rock y musica que es nueva que no es para esta radio.que su emblema es musica ochentera, prefiero panamericana retro rock. la radio lazer de los 80s. .Debes saber algo hoy en dia no escuchan radio ni ven tv los jovenes. por eso radio planeta ocupa los ultimos puestos ,desde  los 2010 para adelante ven solo  youtube o spotify o otra app .se hizo un estudio y la gente que escucha una radio de verdad  no celular o computadora son mas de30 40 50  años a mas y que prefieren 70s 80s 90s en todos sus estilos musicales...o noticias religion.y tiene mucha razon oxigeno desapareceria si pondria musica del 2000 un ejemplo yo era fan y escuchaba z rockandpop ahora escucho otra radio.no me interesa para nada zrockandpop deberia salir del aire esta matando su leyenda su prestigio  con la musica que ponen.
